This product contains lavender flower buds and extra blue lavender. Its botanical name is Lavandula x intermedia, and it originates from France.

This lavender is grown in the Provence region of France. Our No. 2 grade, “Extra Blue,” lavender has a distinctive blue-grey color and a sharp, piney-lavender scent. It is a cross between English lavender (L. angustifolia) and Portuguese lavender (L. latifolia), also known as Lavandin. Lavender flower buds are approximately the size of a grain of rice and are not attached to stems. This lavender is ideal for sachets, dream pillows, bath herbs, teas, and infused oils.

Tea: Steep 1 tablespoon in hot water for 5 to 10 minutes.

Infusions: Combine with carrier oil or honey.

Aromatherapy: Add to a water bath or potpourri.

Tinctures: Soak in a suitable medium for several weeks (faster with the use of a double boiler).

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
