Mullein, also known as Common Mullein, Great Mullein, and Velvet Dock, is a tall biennial plant. It’s traditionally used for its emollient and astringent properties. Dioscorides, an ancient Greek physician, recommended it 2000 years ago for coughs and pulmonary problems.

Tea: Steep 1 tablespoon in hot water for 5-10 minutes.

Infusions: Combine with carrier oil or honey.
